Terms of Service

Welcome to Site Control. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our construction site management platform (“the Service”). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Site Control provides tools for managing construction sites, including GPS check-ins, safety checklists, material requests, document management and compliance reporting. We provide the Service on an “as-is” basis with the reliability and care expected of a professional SaaS platform.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to represent your organisation to create an owner account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account.

3. Subscription, trial and billing

Organisations pay a subscription to use the Service. Workers use the Service at no charge via the mobile app and are never billed. There is no free plan. Full pricing is available on our pricing page.

Free trial

A new organisation can start a free trial lasting 6 weeks. A valid payment card is required to start the trial, and each organisation can have only one free trial. Your card is not charged during the trial.

When the trial ends, your organisation moves to the paid plan automatically and your card is charged, unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Prices

The paid plan costs £21.62 + VAT per month, which includes up to 5 workers, plus £4.29 + VAT per month for each additional worker. Alternatively, you can pay £233.48 + VAT per year, paid upfront. All prices exclude VAT, which is added at the applicable rate. A worker counts towards your organisation's total once they join it, and charges for additional workers are added to your next invoice. We show you the cost before you invite anyone beyond the included workers, and invitations from your project managers that would add a paid worker wait for your approval.

Cancellation

During the free trial you can cancel at any time. The trial ends immediately and you are not charged.

Monthly planscan be cancelled with 28 days' notice. Your access continues during the notice period and the subscription ends at the end of it.

Annual plans are paid upfront for the year. You can cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the year you have paid for and the plan does not renew. We do not refund the unused part of an annual payment.

When a subscription ends

If your organisation does not have a live free trial, an active subscription or complimentary access from us (for example after the trial is cancelled, or after a subscription ends), it becomes read-only. Your data is kept and you can still view it, and workers can still check in and out, but other changes need a subscription. You can subscribe again at any time; a cancelled or used trial cannot be restarted.

4. Data

You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. We process your data only to provide the Service and comply with applicable law. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t break the law, harm other users, attempt to bypass security controls, or upload malicious content. We can suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Site Control is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of £100 or the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
